Cedric Alexander Books First Post-WWE Appearance

Cedric Alexander was among several WWE stars released earlier this year, joining names like Elektra Lopez, Isla Dawn, AOP (Rezar & Akam), Paul Ellering, and Blair Davenport. Additionally, WWE opted not to renew Sonya Deville’s contract.

Following his release, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that AEW sources expected members of the Hurt Syndicate to push for Alexander. However, there have been no further updates on Tony Khan’s interest in signing him.

Alexander is officially scheduled to compete at United Pro Wrestling’s “Ready or Not!” event on May 10th in New Bern, North Carolina. Savannah Evans and Maya World are also advertised for the event. Alexander’s opponent has yet to be announced.

While his next long-term move remains uncertain, this marks his first confirmed appearance since leaving WWE, and fans will be watching closely to see if AEW or other promotions make a move for the former Cruiserweight Champion.
